Best Practices Competition - 3rd Place
The Iota Chi Chapter competed in the Best Practices competition, which was sponsored by Deloitte, at the Beta Alpha Psi Regional Meeting in San Francisco on February 27th. Our representativces brought home 3rd place and a cash award of $125 for the category "Ethics and Integrity in Business: Identify and Promote an Ethics Exemplar". Congratulations everyone!

Voluntary Income Tax Assistance Program
For the next few Saturdays until April 15th, Beta Alpha Psi will be assisting the elderly and low income households in filing their tax returns. Each member or candidate is required to complete a minimum of 12 Service Hours per academic year. This is a great opportunity to fulfill this requirement!

If you are interested, please contact James Snell at least 48 hours before your chosen date. The dates that are open are on the calendar to the right. Your responsibilities will include greeting the taxpayer and checking their paperwork to ensure they actually have all of the necessary documents required to file their return. A checklist of these required documents will be provided to you.

Each event runs from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The minimum shift assignment will be 4 hours (9:00am to 1:00pm, 1:00pm to 5:00pm). Doing the full 8 hours is also possible. There are 3 locations, and the number of volunteers for that day will determine where you will be assigned. Volunteer opportunities are on a first-come, first-served basis as there’s a maximum number of volunteers needed per Saturday.

  435 West Mission Blvd., Suite 100, Pomona
• YMCA of Pomona Valley
  350 North Garey Ave., Pomona
